Ayliea generates PDF posture reports that summarize your security posture in a format designed for sharing outside your team — with auditors, executives, board members, or enterprise customers evaluating your security program.

What’s in a Report

A posture report is a 7-page branded PDF that combines your assessment results with any network discovery data from your account. The report is structured so that a non-technical reader can understand your security posture without needing access to the platform.

Generating a Report

To generate a report:
  1. Navigate to the Reports tab from the main navigation
  2. Select the assessment you want to report on
  3. Choose the report scope — full report or sections only
  4. Click Generate Report
Report generation takes a few seconds. Once complete, the report is available to download as a PDF or share via a secure link.

Sharing with Auditors

You can share a report with an external auditor without giving them access to your Ayliea account. From the Reports tab, select a generated report and choose Share with Auditor. Auditor share links:
  • Require email verification before the report is accessible
  • Expire after a configurable time window (default: 30 days)
  • Can be revoked at any time from the Reports tab
  • Show only the sections you explicitly include in the share

Report Scope Controls

Before generating or sharing a report, you can configure which sections to include. This is useful when sharing with different audiences — an executive summary for the board, a full technical report for your auditor, or just the remediation roadmap for your engineering team.

Branding

Reports display your organization name and the Ayliea logo. Custom branding (your own logo and color scheme) is available on Organization accounts — configure it from your organization settings before generating the report.

Report History

All generated reports are saved and accessible from the Reports tab. Previous reports are useful for demonstrating posture improvement over time — you can share a report from six months ago alongside a current report to show the progress your team has made.
Reports reflect your posture at the time of generation. If you update assessment answers or receive new discovery data after generating a report, generate a new report to reflect the changes. Previously generated reports are not updated retroactively.
